SINGLE: The most mysterious Whisky in the world! JURA

An Intriguing title - "Isle of Jura Superstition" / "Superstitions of the Isle of JURA" - is associated with many beliefs and prejudices of the inhabitants of the Hebrides.

Each bottle of Whisky is decorated with ancient Egyptian cross of Ankh, with which the main superstition of Whisky “Jura Superstition” is related. According to this superstition a barman is not allowed to open a new bottle of the "Jura Superstition".

The right to open the "Jura Superstition" is given the guest who has ordered this drink. At the same time, while opening the bottle, it must be so compressed by the hand to make the Ankh imprinted on the palm. An empty bottle of "Jura Superstition" can be thrown out only after removing the ankh, which must be then attached to the bar.

The Sommelier of the restaurant recommends: Mysterious combination of Jura Superstition Whisky with a Fillet of lamb in pistachio crust.

Some history ...
On the island there are still signs of the distilleries of XVI century, but now only one production – the Isle of Jura exists there. On this distillery, which was founded in 1810, is produced whisky, which differs by its style from the classic island molts. The flavor of the sea and the flavor of the peat almost are not felt in it. The malt, which is used for it, is brought from the isle of Islay, from the Port Ellen’s distillery malts. Superstition is a union of two styles of Jura malt whisky:  the first - brash, strong and peat (malting of barley in the island peat-style), the second - warm and delicate (a selection of matured malt alcohols). As a result is the unique combination of the production methods of malt whisky and a sensational new taste for Whisky lovers.
